Scouting

Updated: Jun 10, 2021

In less than two weeks, archery season begins here in Western Pa. We have been busy scouting for deer by using our multiple game cameras. This process entails placing the cameras strategically around our property, checking them every few days to view what pictures and videos were recorded, and then moving them to a new location. The recordings helps us decide where the best place is to position our tree stands and hunting blinds. We enjoy seeing, hearing, and observing all that we find on them.

This scripture came to my mind today and made me think of our usage of game cameras.

1 Corinthians 2:9

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.”

God is telling us that for those who LOVE Him, He has more prepared than humanly possible to comprehend by using our eyes, ears, or minds. It is only through our love for Him, which is found in our spirits, that we will enjoy the ABUNDANT LIFE that He has for us.

This photo is what it looks like when you are using a rangefinder- another tool that we use for hunting. It tells you the distance between yourself and an object. It is one of the first things you do
